X-Ray scanner for studying core fluid saturation (Vinci Technologies)

Description

The scanner is an add-on module to the AutoFlood 700 and allows monitoring of fluid movement in the core under thermobaric conditions in the liquid-to-liquid, liquid-to-gas system. Allows to study progression through the core of fringes of various fluids used in the process of enhanced oil recovery.

Description

For conducting PVT-research in thermobaric conditions, as close as possible to reservoir conditions. Allows to determine precipitation points of paraffins, asphaltenes at different pressures, temperatures; determination of particle morphology, growth rate.

MSFU-30U microscope-photometer

Description

Designed for microscopic determination of mineral and coal vitrinite reflectance indices in the spectral range from 400 to 900 nm, as well as for the study of maceronal groups in coals. Measuring the reflectivity of vitrinite allows to fix the properties of the main microcomponents in the preparation, which indicate the degree of transformation of organic matter - catagenesis. The microscope spectrophotometer is controlled by a computer using a special program. Description

The device is designed to study the petrophysical properties of rocks, in particular to measure the coefficient of gas permeability and open porosity of rocks. The principle of operation of the analyzer is based on the Boyle-Marriott law, where the basic characteristic of rock permeability properties is determined by the flow rate of helium gas passed through the tested sample at constant pressure.

Tomography does not require sample preparation, application of contrasting methods, obtaining thin sections, etc. - simple scanning allows to obtain full information about the spatial structure of the sample with high resolution and to get the sample back in an unchanged form.
