Rich graphics and authentic controls create a virtual world in which the operator can experience training exercises such as “go around the machine,” “learning the controls,” “driving at the mine site,” “braking,” “transporting at the mine site,” “loading,” “unloading on the crusher,” “unloading on the high wall,” “production cycle,” open training mode, and much more.

An underground loading and unloading machine simulator that is used in underground mines to move materials and load trucks in the harshest environments. Operators can learn in a virtual environment so mistakes happen during the simulation rather than on the job. When operators learn the right techniques, production reaches optimal levels. The following training exercises are included in the Cat® Simulators LHD Loader System: walking, familiarization with controls/system tests, bucket placement, driving, truck loading, crusher loading and open drills.

The conveyor control bench allows you to study two types of conveyor speed control loops: conveyor speed control loop with vector control system with feedback and conveyor speed control loop with vector control system without feedback. The bench has a man-machine interface, which must also be developed in the course of laboratory work.

The filter station combines a closed-loop control system with digital and analog sensors and actuators. The pressure control system is controlled via PLC and a closed-loop controller. The liquid to be filtered is delivered to the filter from a tank of unfiltered liquid through a pump. During the flushing process, the filter is completely filled with liquid and the particles are removed from the filter by means of compressed air.

The main functional features of the smart board are the ability to analyze electricity consumption in general and by groups, the timely detection of problems associated with excessive energy consumption, and implementation of management of various elements of the power supply system in order to optimize and improve the efficiency of electricity consumption.

Provides for power distribution and load control, technical power metering; operational maintenance, power quality monitoring. Used to ensure the safety of mining operations, as a device working according to the concept of «smart grid».

Provides for the training and education of operators and maintenance personnel of mining complexes, as well as students, in the following programs:

• Subsea production complex management
• Management of an oil and gas field on land.

Implementation of each program is possible using 3D and VR-technologies. Each program is a set of software and hardware to organize a visual and effective educational process.
